Case Study 26.1 History of present illness: Patient is a 29 year old female presenting to her Gynecologist for her annual physical. Past medical history Diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Family history. Father has Osteoarthritis. Mother has Osteoporosis and herniated lumbar disc. Social History No history of illicit drugs, alcohol abuse, or tobacco. Allergies Penicillin.
Medications Vitamins C and D. Ibuprofen 400 mg when needed. Key Labs, images, or procedures performed in relation to current diagnosis. • Pap smear: Abnormal cells. • Colposcopy: o Cervical biopsy: Negative for cancer. lodine showed areas of abnormal tissue such as genital warts. • HPV Test: Positive for type 6. Key Physical Examination findings: • 2-3 small warts located in perineal area.
