(a) This composite is modified by changing the fiber-type inside, from glass fiber to aramid fiber to double its original modulus with glass fiber. Calculate the volume percentage of aramid fiber (EKevlar-200 GPa), (Eglass= 70 GPa), (Eepoxy- 4 GPa when solidified), (b) Calculate transversal and longitudinal moduli of elasticity of this new composite. (c) Compute the load longitudinally carried by fibers and matrix in the new structure, separately (4= 600 mm² and o= 150 MPa). x=2 EE, Ec=EmVm+ Et Vi E = VE+VE
