The ACT scores for a small sample of individuals for each gender and the raw data is listed below. According to Truman's admission office last years Freshman had an average ACT of 27 with a standard deviation of 3 (u = 27.5 = 3) a. Using the traditional" cutoff method, test (a +0.05 ) to see if this year's male students have a different academic ability than last year's students. HIMET b. Calculate the P-value for the above statistic, state your rejection region and test to see if this year's male students have a different academic ability than last year's students. c.
