A sample of 49 provides a sample mean of 38 and a sample
standard deviation of 7.
a. Is this a one or two-tailed test?
b. Determine the standard error of the mean.
c. Compute the value of the test statistic.
d. Determine the p-value; and at a 5% level of significance,
test the hypotheses.
