2.- In a batch of steel columns, their lengths (L) were determined; where length is a random variable with distribution N(u, o^2). It has been determined that there are 58% of columns with L ≤ 75, 38% with 75 <L≤ 80 and 4% with L≥ 80. (length in inches)
a) Calculate the parameters of the distribution of L.
b) Calculate P(78 ≤ L ≤ 82).
c) Calculate the length in which 50% of the batch of steel columns are found

2.- En un lote de columnas de acero, se determinó sus longitudes (L); donde la longitud es una variable aleatoria con distribución N (u; oʻ). Se ha determinado que hay un 58% de columnas con L < 75, un 38% con 75<L 580 y un 4% con L> 80. (longitudes en pulgadas) a) Calcule los parámetros de la distribución de L. b) Calcule P (78 <L <82). c) Calcule la longitud en la cual se encuentra el 50% del lote de columnas de acero.
