Question 2 (a) In an Engineering firm, a conduct of an employee, and the expectations regarding employees' behaviour towards their colleagues, supervisors, and overall organization are vital for the company and monitored by their managers. The repetition of behaviour is seen as a consequence of reinforcements from the manager. Suggest and explain the types of reinforcements available to the manager. (12 marks) (b) Your company has two alternative opportunities, each requiring the entire capital investment budget of $325,000. Alternative A will return $390,000 at the end of first year; alternative B will return $216,000 at the end of each of the first two years. Calculate and suggest which (if either) alternative should you recommend on the basis of (i) The simply payback time for both A and B alternatives.
