An air-conditioner first cool down the air to get rid of the moisture before it is heated up again. The air flowing into the air-conditioner is at 35°C, 100kPa and a relative humidity of 90%. The air is cooled down so that an amount of water condensates. The water leaving the cooler is at the same temperature than the (saturated) air that leaves the cooler. The water and air are separated and the air is reheated to 20°C. The relative humidity of this air is 30% and the pressure 100kPa. What is the temperature of the air leaving the cooler? How much water is condensed per kg dry air? How much heat is removed from the cooler per kg dry air and kg incoming air? (1.7°C, 0.0288kg water/kg DA)
