In a two dimensional (x-y) situation, variable o is governed by the following equation: Ф div(pVQ) = div(I grado)+a-bo where p=1,I=1 a=10 and b=2. The flow field is such that u=1 and v=4 everywhere. The values of Q are given along the boundaries as follows: q=0 along the bottom and the right. p=100 along the top and the left. Using the control volume formulation, derive the discretization equations and calculate the values of o at the internal grids by use of a) The central difference scheme, b) The upwind scheme, c) The hybrid scheme d) The power-law scheme. Show your results in terms of graphs. Comment on your results. i) Use the grid system shown and obtain values of q at internal nodes by hand calculation. Q=100 4 7 0=100 8 10 0=0 6 10 p=0
