PROJECT 2 Problem Statement: Illustrated in Fig. P.2 is a transmission-line system with characteristic impedance Z ohm. The line is terminated with a complex load of Z1 = (RL + jX) ohm. A short-circuit shunt-stub arrangement is designed to match the load to the line as shown. Hence, using the data as furnished, determine the following: (1) Distance li meter from the load-end where the stub is connected at 'aa' (ii) Length 12 meter of the stub Use Smith-Chart to determine the above lengths.
