Transformer with resistive load: Efficiency and voltage characteristics In this task, the performance of the transformer will be analyzed at various states of operation. The circuit is given as shown below: 1.1 2.1 (2) 2.2 230 V50-60 Hz UBY 3.1 1.2 3.2 a) The resistive load is set to 100 percent and the voltage to 230 V. Now the variable resistance is adjusted downwards gradually while keeping an eye on the current. The current will increase as resistance is reduced. Attached below is a simple graph showing voltage as a function of load current. How would the corresponding curve look if we connected an inductive or a capacitive load to the secondary side of the transformer?
