The top of the coil and both transmission lines are parallel to each other and lie in the same horizontal plane. The student estimates that the lines carry 1000 A (RMS) at 50 Hz. Determine the voltage (RMS) that will be induced in the coil if it is wound with 1000 turns. Answer: 17.5 volts.
