how do we start and what we have to do
Each student is expected to create an account on the IBM Digital Nation website and complete the course on design thinking which is found here. Design thinking offers an interesting process to incorporate all the concepts that are tackled in modules two and three of this course. After taking the course and completing the assessment, students should work in groups to: 1. Create a 10-minute presentation on design thinking and how it can be used in software engineering. 2. Identify a social/commercial problem that can be solved with software. 3. Taking into account our discussions in modules 2 and 3, and the design thinking process, develop a prototype that solves this problem. 4. Create a 10-minute presentation covering the problem and your solution to the problem. The final presentation will count as 10% of your final grade. Deliverables 1. 10-slide power-point presentation on design thinking 2. 10-slide power-point presentation on your prototype indicating: a. The definition of the problem b. Analysis models of the problem c. Your solution to the problem d. Design models of your solution e. A prototype of the solution (a wireframe is acceptable)
