CM485 Construction Quantity take-off Problem: Using the graphics provided, perform a quantity take-off for the steel required. The column schedule is provided below. All beam spans are 24 feet. The building uses a concrete on steel deck flooring system for all the elevated slabs. The 28-gauge steel deck is penetrated by a 12 foot by 8 foot stairwell and two 8 foot by 10 foot elevator shafts on floors 2-5. The floors are support by 14K3 open web joists that are 4 feet on-center. The roof is supported by 12K3 open web joists that are also 4 feet on-center.
