7. A Dunkin' Donuts customer discovered that his daily morning
bagel from the chain had margarine on it instead of butter, even
though the Dunkin' Donuts menu read, "Buttered Bagel – Add 25
cents." The customer filed suit because he said he did not want
margarine, he wanted butter. For litigation, the customer obtained
expert certification that Dunkin' Donuts was using margarine on
bagels because butter has to be refrigerated and was too cold to
spread quickly enough. What is the customer suing for?
a. A defect in the production of the bagels
b. Deceptive advertising
c. Product safety
d. Product safety and a defect in the production of the
bagels.
