activity, is overweight 290lbs. He presents with an asthma
exacerbation, he is dyspneic and febrile temp 101. Rapid Covid test
is negative, and he explains that this is a particularly bad flare
even taking his Flovent and other inhalers without relief. He is
started on high-dose prednisone and admitted for further
observation. Lab work returned elevations in his blood glucose
levels. Blake denies any knowledge of being a diabetic. A
fingerstick test is 308mg/dl.
