you have had the following experiences.
Scenario:
Following an audit of usage of GY’s credit cards approved for
use by GY’s employees for business related purposes you were
advised that SD, one of GY’s regional managers, appeared to have
used their work credit card for private purposes. The transactions
totalling $12,000 were for payment of mortgage arrears on one of
SD’s sibling’s home. You are aware that SD’s sibling has suffered a
prolonged period of ill health. SD has been employed by GY for 11
years and always performed their work in a satisfactory manner.
With reference to your understanding of the role of the human
resource manager explain:
1. what disciplinary action, if any, you will take against SD;
and
2. your reasons for taking such action.
