You own a mid-sized manufacturing company. Your main market
is actually overseas in a foreign country. That country offers
you major concessions that would increase your business
one hundred fold if you establish a plant there. However, that
country's laws prohibit women from engaging in gainful employment.
If you open a plant there, you will not be able to offer any of
your current women executives an opportunity. Your bylaws state
that you will do what is in the best interest of your shareholders.
What should you do and why?
