ACC 200 FSA Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 Step 1. Pick a publicly traded company that you are interested in researching. You will need to find a company that has its financial statements available to the public. Step 2. Research the company to answer the following questions: 1) Name, location, stock symbol and website 2) When, where founded and by whom 3) Original mission of the company and any change in the mission of the company 4) Leadership today 5) What industry is your company part of 6) Main products and/or Services producer or sold 7) Milestones/achievements 8) Current events, Important interesting facts 9) Sustainability efforts, if any. Step 3. Research and prepare a SWOT analysis that discusses at least 4 strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats about the company you picked Step 4: Research your company and locate the Financial Statements for years 2019, 2020 and 2021 Step 5: Perform a horizontal and vertical analysis on the 2 most recent (2019 and 2020) income statement and balance sheet and prepare common sized statements comparing your chosen company to another company in the industry (a competitor). Step 6: Financial Analysis. Perform the following ratios on the most recent financial statements. If more than one financial year is needed, use the 2 most recent years that are available.
