A 26-year-old male patient present to his long-time family
practice physician, Garrett, complaining of LT arm pain at bedtime.
The patient was last evaluated by Dr. Garrett four years ago. The
physician documents a medically appropriate history and exam. The
provider orders an EKG and CBC lab. A/P: Left arm pain. Suspect
this is related to anxiety. Discussed relaxation techniques and
patient will follow up if symptoms worsen. Dr. Garret will call
with EKG results. What is the level of E/M and diagnosis codes for
this patient encounter?
