Draw diagrams to show how you could arrange all four capacitors in a series-parallel combination circuit so that the equivalent capacitance is i. 4.8 uF (2 x 1 mark) ii. 9.0 uF (2 x 1 mark) iii. 7.2 F (2 x 1 mark) c. Two parallel-plate capacitors are made from circular plates. The first capacitor has circular plates with the radii rı = 12.3 cm and a spacing between the plates of 2.34 mm. The second capacitor has circular plates with the radii r2 = 14.8 cm. If the two capacitors have the same capacitance, what is the spacing between the plates in the second capacitor? (£. = 8.85 x 10-12 F/m). (2 x 1 mark)
