In the theoretical introduction of this experiment it was stated
that complexation reactions with edta proceed smoothly as a large
increase in entropy could be observed. However, the given reaction
M2+ aq +H2Y 2 aq −−→ MY2 aq +2 H+ aq does not seem to support this.
Where is the entropy gained after all?
