1. The position of an aerial imaging drone can be described by the following expression: f(t) = (3 m) cos((0.61 rad/s)t) î + (2 m) sin((0.671 rad/s)t)ſ + (0.05 m/s2)t?k. Note the arguments of the trigonometric functions are in radians. A) Calculations: i. Calculate the drone's position, velocity, and acceleration at t = 0 s, and t 10 s. ii. Calculate the magnitude of the average velocity vector of the drone from t = 0 s to t = 10.0 s. iii. Calculate the tangential and radial components of the acceleration at t = 10 s. B) GlowScript Simulations: i. Use GlowScript to simulate the motion of the drone. You may use a simple box or sphere object as the drone. Be sure to include a ground/floor so that the motion of the drone is clearly visible. ii. Using your GlowScript simulation, calculate the position, velocity, and accelerate of the drone at t = 10 s. What value of dt is appropriate for these calculations? iii. Attach velocity and acceleration vectors to your drone. C) Compare the results of your theoretical calculations to the simulated values.
