2. (20 pts) A piano tuner is tuning the D, key of a piano which should be tuned to its proper frequency 293.665 Hz. She hears 6 beats per second when listening to the tone by hitting the key while the tuning fork is also producing the De tone. a) Can the tuner determine the frequency of the piano string? If not, can the tuner determine what possible frequencies of the sound the string generated? b) The tuner then tries to tune the key by increasing the tension of the string and hears more beats per second. Can the tuner now determine what was the frequency of the string before changing the tension? c) Should she continue to increase the tension or decrease the tension?
