7. An uncharged solid conducting sphere of radius ro contains two spherical cavities of radii r1 and r2, respectively. Point charge Q1 is then placed within the cavity of radius rı and point charge Q2 is placed within the cavity of radius r2, see the figure. a) Draw the distribution of charge at the surface of each cavity and at the outer surface of the sphere. Is the charge uniformly distributed? b) What is the net charge at the surface of each cavity and at the outer surface of the sphere? c) Determine the resulting electric field at locations outside the solid sphere. Give magnitude and direction.
