Is all of this a correct interpretation of my gel?
- Describe your results: for each fragment (insert and vector): -did you recover the fragment after purification? If not, what do you think could have happened? -are the fragments the expected sizes?
Lane 1: Empty Lane 2: Empty Lane 3: 6μ of 6s (1kb DNA ladder) Lane 4: 6μof1 s (VC: vector control) Lane 5:6μof2 s (CTV: CIP Treated vector) Lane 6:6μof3 s (UTV: Untreated Vector) Lane 7:6 μl of 4 s (IC: Insert Control) Lane 8: 6μof5 s (Insert) Lane 9: 6μof6 s ( 1 kb ladder) Lane 10: Empty Lane 11: Empty I ann 19. Eminter
-Describe your results: Based on the results, PCR control was missing in the gel. In lane 4 , you can see 2 bands, but the first band is not as visible. Lane 5 has 1 visible band at 3 kb. for each fragment (insert and vector): -did you recover the fragment after purification? If not, what do you think could have happened? -are the fragments the expected sizes? The fragments were recovered after purification. Yes, they are the expected sizes.
