An eagle with a mass of m=7 kg while high up in the air, falls straight down vertically against an air resistance of R=70 N. Find the acceleration of the eagle if the force of gravity pulling it down is equal to the air resistance R, in other words if mg=R=70N. (Reference: please use g=10 m/s2 in this problem). Based on the information above, which of the following would be an accurate observation: a. the eagle is accelerating downwards at a rate of 10 m/s2. b. the eagle is accelerating upwards at a rate of 7 m/s2. c. the eagle is not moving at all, it hangs motionless supported from below by a cushion of air. d. the acceleration of the eagle is 0 m/s2, however, the eagle is still moving. It has reached terminal velocity, and is falling down with constant speed.
