Consider the following properties for one mole of an monoatomic ideal gas (Cv= 1.5R). Given, R=0.0821 L⋅atm/mol⋅K. The gas undergoes the following change of state: State 1 to state 2: Reversible adiabatic expansion State 2 to state 3 : Isobaric heating State 3 to state 1: Reversible isothermal compression i) Find the missing properties values for V1, V2, V3, T2 and T3. (5 marks) ii) Sketch the above process on a P-V diagram. (5 marks) iii) Determine the energy values for heat (Q), work (W) and internal (U) for state 1 to state 2 and state 2 to state 3 . Your answer can be in L⋅ atm or Joules. (6 marks)
