Consider a steel sphere (ρ=1.25 g/cc and Cp=0.8cal/gρc) at 100∘c of radius 3 cm. this is dipped into 1000ml of water at 40∘c. in a vessel which is completely insulated, what is the equilibrium temperature inside the vessel. Neglect spatial gradients in both the sphere and the fluid and Heat transfer rate UA between the sphere and the fluid is 1000cal/s0c (Using vector basis method) (7M)
