A uniformly distributed load of w = 13kN/m is applied to the beam, causing the roller support at B to settle downward (i.e., displace downward) by 10 mm. Determine: (a) the reactions at supports A, B, and C. (b) the maximum bending stress σmax​ in the beam. Assume LAB​=4.4 m,LBC​=5.2 m. Answers: (a) A= kN,B= kN,C= (b) σmax​= MPa.
