13. We have a pipe traversing the Syracuse Data center from one wall of the data center to the other covering 100ft. One option is to go straight across, but it would require raising the pipe off the concrete floor 2 feet to miss some mid room structures. The other option is to mount the pipe on the concrete floor which would cause some bends in the pipe. This path would cause the pipe to be 120 feet long and add 4 flanged long radius pipe bends. The water flow is 10 gal /m in and the internal diameter of the smooth pipe is 2 inches. Compute the pressure drop in psi for both cases.
