A liquid-liquid heat exchanger designed with 700 ft2 heattransfer cross-sectionalarea and an overall heat transfer coefficient of 600 Btr/hr-ft2-F.If the system isoperating at a steady state flow rate of 9000 lbm/hr, inlettemperature of 115F, andan outlet temperature of 70F, calculate the total rate of heattransfer. Assume, thedifference between the inlet and outlet temperatures equals theoveralltemperature difference.
