In the engine system shown in the figure, the length of the connecting rod BD is l=0.160 m and the length of the crank AB is b=0.06 m. The crank AB rotates with a constant angular velocity ωAB=1000 rpm clockwise. Note: Point A is fixed. Use computational software (such as Excel) to determine and plot (a) the angular velocity of the connecting rodBD as a function of the angle θ ranging from 0 to 360∘ and using 10∘ increments. (b) the velocity of the piston P as a function of θ with the same range and increments as above. The piston moves in the cylinder which is oriented vertical.
