A composite wall with five layers is shown below. Layer A sits in the middle, covered by two layers (B) on both sides. They are further covered by two layers (C), which are exposed to air with h=100 W/m2⋅K and T∞​=20∘C. The contact resistance can be neglected. Layer Bs have a volumetric heat generation rate q˙​=1000 W/m3, and all other layers do not have any heat generation. The thermal conductivity and dimensions of each layer are shown in the figure below. (a) With steady state condition, calculate the temperature at the interface between layer B and C(T1​). (b) Calculate the temperature in the center of layer A.
