The flow of oil over a surface can be approximated as follows: 4 = 3y^2 m/s and v=0 m/s. The properties of the oil are: K = 0.145 W/m.K and p = 0.8374 N.s/m2. The viscous dissipation cannot be neglected. Also, all conditions normalize to free stream conditions 2m above the plate (i.e. velocity and temperature are constant beyond 2m). The free stream temperature and the plate temperature are maintained at 20°C. If the area of the surface is 0.5m2, calculate the heat required to maintain the surface at a constant temperature. You must clearly indicate if this heat is supplied or taken away from the surface.
