A kettle is used to prepare hot infused drinks, when placed in a stove using 2 containers as shown in the picture. A big container below contains water and the one on top (infused drink) can block the water vapor flow and make the pressure inside the water container rise, and make the water overflow out of the spout of the water container. Bearing in mind the thermal expansion of water and the aluminum kettle which contains 1.5 dm- of water and 500 cm on the infused drink container and that the change in water quantity is 5% of the total volume inside the spout. Determine the maximum height of water that would not cause a spill at gauge pressures of up to 0.40 KPa. (Use 25 x 10-60c-1 as the coefficient of linear expansion of Aluminum, and 210 x 10-6 oc- as the volume expansion coefficient of water) 500 cm3 Infused Drink Spout Vapor Pressure < 0.40 kPa / 30° Water 20 cm Height? 1.5dm^3 5 cm
