metal The hangar requirements are: • The portal frame must be wide
enough to accommodate the plane plus a minimum of 3.0m on either
side. • The portal frame must be long enough to accommodate the
plane plus a minimum of 4m on both ends. • A 2.0ton crane is
required in the hangar. The crane must be able to reach the entire
plane and deliver items to the edge of the workshop. • The portal
frame must be high enough to accommodate the plane height plus 1.0m
at the door. • A sliding hangar door is required to secure the
facility. The door must provide a minimum clear opening of plane
width plus 1.25m. Specify the type and weight of door. Design the
supporting structure. • The workshop must span the width of the
hangar and must be at least 250m2. The workshop floor level must be
the same as the hangar.
