Q1) 60,000 lb/h of acetone will be cooled from 250°F to 100°F using 185,000 lb/h of 100% acetic acid which is available at 90°F. Inlet pressures will be 100 psia for acetone and 50 psia for acetic acid. A maximum pressure drop of 10 psi is specified for each stream.
