Gas locking and sticking are common problems in sucker rod
pumps. It is a common practice in onshore to unseat the traveling
valve, which is also termed as banging bottom. This banging bottom
help us to solve sticking problem and gas locking issues in drill
pipe but also causes wear on the sucker rod, pumps, gear box etc
and finally it causes failure of pumping equipment. Explain the
rectification measure in detail.
