Two three- phase, Y- Y, transformers are to be connected in parallel to supply a load of 330 kVA at 240V. The ratings of the transformers are as follows:
Transformer A: 250kVA; 7200 V /240 V; Z=6 % Transfornmer B: 10kVA; 7200 V/240 V; Z=4 %
Sketch the diagram of the system described above.
Calculate the following:
i. The nominal primary current of each transformer
ii. The impedance of the load referred to the primary
ii. The impedance of each transformer referred to the primary side
iv. The actual primary current in each transformer
