Antenna Azimuth Position Control System Model SYSTEM DESCRPTION AND PARAMETERS The antenna azimuth position control system is one of the fundamental components of modern telecommunication systems including satellites, radar systems and space robots. Accurate and precise azimuth positioning of an antenna is necessary for optimum performance of these practical systems. This has attracted interest of many rescarchets in the field of control systems, [1.2). The figure I below shows layout of a typical antenna azimuth position control system. Figure 2 and Figure 3 show the system schematic and block diagrams respectively. Detail description of cach sub-components can be read from literature [1.2].
