The TAY booster gets fed from the principle transmission of 10 Watts at Karachi without gain. The TAY and Thar-parkar are at a radial distance of 200 km and 400 km respectively w.r.t. Karachi as the reference point where the transmission originates, the attenuation coefficient, a = 0.5 dB/km, the sensitivity of the booster at TAY is 20 uW. The sensitivity of the ordinary TV sets previously available in Tharparkar was 100 mW. Find the gain of repeater installed at KHI and TAY stations to launch TV transmission at Thar-Parkar city.
