3. Simulation of clipping circuits (15 marks)
Before attempting this exercise,
review your notes on clipping circuits.
3a. In this exercise you will simulate
clipping circuits, and record screenshots of your schematic
diagrams and simulations. Use the Schottky diode 1N5817 in all
simulations. (8 marks)
Use a standard AC
power supply to provide the input voltage in this
exercise. No need to use a transformer. In
all cases vI is an AC power supply with
12 V amplitude at 50Hz. All additional power supplies are DC of the
indicated value. All resistors are 1kΩ.
