Q. A test well was screened through the full thickness of a 65 ft water bearing soil stratum. The well was pumped for 5 days at a constant rate of 75 grm. At 5 days' time, a piezometer 10 feet away from the test well showed a drawdown of 3.9 feet below static water level and a piezometer 100 feet away from the test well shows a drawdown of 1.5 feet below static water level. Determine the radius of influence, transmissivity and storage coefficient of the water bearing stratum. As conveyed in the notes, graph drawdown data on a semi-log plot (use software or hand graph with semi-log paper template found on the internet). Confirm, based on your results, that this is an I unconfined aquifer. Explain how you determined this. 45 ft 65 ft Impermeable ground
