For the gradation in Table 1, a trial blend of of 50% “Stone A”,
30% “Sand B” and 20% “Screenings C” was proposed. The resulting
blended gradation is shown in Column 5. Knowing this data, which of
the following blend proportions will satisfy the design criteria
shown AND that the amount for the 4.75 mm sieve is in the range of
53 to 57 percent passing and the blend still meets the
