A 140x241 S-P-F No.1 beam is 3.2 m long and runs along the perimeter of a building. All conditions are standard. The beam supports gravity line loads of: • 2.8 kN/m dead load • 3.5 kN/m live load Determine the maximum wind line load (in kN/m) that can be applied laterally to the beam (i.e. in its weak direction). Only the beam's moment capacities need to be considered (i.e. neglect shear and deflection checks). Consider both governing load combinations.
