1. A protein (protein x) is made up of 3 interacting peptides that have the following names and molecular weights as measured by SDS. Heavy chain: 100 kDa Medium chain: 50 kDa Light chain: 15 KDa You evaluate protein x via SDS-PAGE using the following preparations . X denatured by SDS and B-mercaptoethanol . X denatured by SDS without B-mercaptoethanol . X treated with trypsin, then denatured by SDS and B-mercaptoethanol . X treated with trypsin, then denatured by SDS without ß-mercaptoethanol Draw bands on the gel below indicating where you expect to see bands from each sample. A molecular-weight ladder has already been added for your reference. HARBICHOT kDa -250 -130 -100 -70 -55 -35 -25 -15 -10 -
