Problem 1 A hollow circular shaft with outside diameter equal to 100 mm and inside diameter equal to 80 mm is subjected to a torque T=12kN⋅m. What are the maximum tensile, compressive and shear stresses in the shaft (Hint: consider points A and B and use Mohr Circle)?
