Calculate the discriminator output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) when an FM signal transmitting a 10kHz tone with a deviation of 75kHz produces a carrier-tonoise ratio of 45 dB at the discriminator input. What would be the corresponding output SNR if the amplitude of the 10kHz tone was reduced by 10 dB ?
