3.6 Carbon monoxide sensor. The CO sensor in Figure 8.1 is used to detect CO in a home and provide an alarm for concentrations greater than 50ppm (the maximum allowable long-time workplace exposure level in the United States). To calibrate the sensor, its resistance is measured at 10ppm and 100ppmCO. The measured values are 22kΩ and 17kΩ, respectively. Calculate the sensor reading at which the alarm is triggered and the sensitivity of the sensor.
