I would like to create a charger for this battery I have. The circuit would have a 120v AC 60hz input. I know I need to start with a full bridge rectifier and probably add a voltage regulator somewhere but I don't know exactly. Could someone make a diagram and explain? Here are the battery specs:
SCH12-7AH- 12V7Ah/20HR Non-Spillable Rechargeable Valve Regulated Lead-Acid Battery Constant Voltage Charge (25∘C) \begin{tabular}{|c|c|c|} \hline TYPE & Voltage Regulation & Initial Current \\ \hline Voltage of opencircuit & 12.8∼13.2 V & In a month \\ \hline Standby USE & 13.50∼13.80 V & Less than 2.1 A \\ \hline Cycle USE & 14.50∼14.80 V & Less than 2.1 A \\ \hline \end{tabular} WARNING: MADE IN GHINA - Avoid short circuit. - Recharge after use. - Risk of fire.explosion, or burns. - Do not charge in a sealed container. - Must be recycledor disposed of properly. - Do not disassemble, heat above 50∘C, or incinerate.
